The Earthphone
The Earthphone is a highly sensitive omnidirectional geophone developed into a unique microphone. Originally designed for seismic measurements, it can be used with normal field recording equipment to capture very faint vibrations in various materials and even sand, soil and rock. Due to the capsules intended purpose it captures low frequency sound extremely well, and creates unique recordings unlike any other sensor.
