The Seaphone

The Seaphone is a highly sensitive omnidirectional geophone developed into a unique microphone. Originally designed for seismic measurements, it can be used with normal field recording equipment to capture very faint vibrations in various materials and even sand, soil and rock. Due to demand for a waterproof version we have developed the original Earthphone into a Hydrophone, allowing you to expand your low frequency sound hunting to the rivers, lakes and streams. Due to the capsules intended purpose it captures low frequency sound extremely well, and creates unique recordings unlike any other sensor.

No phantom power is required.

The Earthphone

The Earthphone is a highly sensitive omnidirectional geophone developed into a unique microphone. Originally designed for seismic measurements, it can be used with normal field recording equipment to capture very faint vibrations in various materials and even sand, soil and rock.  Affixing itself to the Earth or large objects and sonifies vibrations or movement. Using either the included suction cup or neodymium magnet, stick the Geophone near busy intersections, construction sites, or anywhere else you think interesting sounds are waiting to be discovered. Due to the capsules intended purpose it captures low frequency sound extremely well, and creates unique recordings unlike any other sensor.
