Luc Virilio
Luc is a muscian and experimental instrument builder. Luc builds instruments that created new possibilities for sustained sound, referencing the pallete of contempory electonic ambient, made acoustic. Building Metalephones, Sustaining Chordophones and experimental Flue Pipes. Luc’s primarily explores the sonic possibilitys of these instrument, layering improvised recordsing with (somewhat) more tradtional percussion.
Luc’s first release with Discreet Archive, Outside (Articulated), is primarily based on recordings of a Metalephone build from steel rod and the side of a metal shevling unit.
